Methodology
Source: the Contractors Ranked directory of home-services contractors (directory listings and their attached Google ratings and review counts). This report was compiled on 2026-10-14. “Contractors listed” is the number of directory listings attributed to Ohio. “Cities / towns covered” counts distinct cities with at least one listing. “Average rating” is the unweighted mean rating across listings that carry a rating (32,700 of 43,067 listings). “Total reviews counted” is the sum of the Google review counts stored on those listings. We do not publish licensing, permit, project-completion or satisfaction figures because the directory does not collect them.
