Most listings are aggregated from public business data and are not individually verified by us. A listing marked as "claimed" means the business owner has confirmed control of the record and can edit it, but that is not a licence, insurance, or background check. We always recommend confirming licensing and insurance directly with the relevant state or provincial authority.

Yes! Many contractors in our network offer free estimates. When you get matched or reach out directly through a listing, you can request a free quote for your project. We recommend getting at least 2-3 estimates before making your decision.

We take feedback seriously. If you have a negative experience, please contact us through our Contact page with details so we can investigate. For serious issues like unlicensed work or fraud, we recommend also filing a complaint with your state contractor licensing board. We may remove or flag contractors who consistently receive poor feedback.

Many contractors in our directory advertise same-day or after-hours service for urgent issues like burst pipes, electrical hazards, or storm damage. Use our search and filters to find contractors who cover your area, then call to confirm emergency availability before you rely on it. For immediate danger, always call 911 first.

Contractors are ordered primarily by the rating and review volume published on their Google Business Profile, together with the completeness of their listing and the services they offer. Paid Top Positions are separate sponsored placements at the top of a city page and are labelled as sponsored; they do not change the organic ordering.

Getting listed takes just a few minutes. Visit our "List Your Business" page and either claim an existing listing (if we already have your business) or create a new one. Fill out your business details, services, and coverage area, choose a plan, and you'll receive login credentials to manage your listing anytime.

Publishing a listing is a paid subscription — $9.95/month or $95.52/year — which keeps your business in search results and adds a do-follow link to your website. For even more visibility, you can add an exclusive Top Position at the top of your city's results. Both are month-to-month subscriptions you can cancel anytime.

Top Positions (1, 2, and 3) place your business at the very top of search results in your city. Position 1 appears first on both city pages and all service-specific pages. Each position is exclusive — only one contractor can hold each spot per city. This gives you premium visibility above all organic results.

When homeowners use our "Get Matched" feature and select your area and services, you receive their contact information directly via email. You only pay when a qualified lead is delivered — there's no monthly fee. Lead pricing varies by service type, and your credit balance never expires.

Your listing can include: business name, address, phone number, email, website, logo, description, services offered, service areas, business hours, team member profiles with photos and certifications, insurance and licensing details, languages spoken, and special features like financing options or emergency service availability.

Log in to your dashboard using the credentials sent to your email. From there, you can update all your business details including services, contact info, hours, team members, and more. Changes appear on your listing immediately.

To maximize visibility: complete every field in your profile (complete listings rank higher), add a professional logo and team photos, accurately list all your services and certifications, encourage happy customers to leave Google reviews, and consider a Top Position for guaranteed premium placement in your city.

We do not currently award a "Highly Recommended" badge or any other quality endorsement. The only guaranteed placement above the organic results is a clearly labelled sponsored Top Position, which buys visibility rather than a quality rating. To judge a contractor, check licensing, insurance, and recent reviews.

Top Position 1 is $195/month, Top Position 2 is $145/month, and Top Position 3 is $95/month. All positions are month-to-month subscriptions with no long-term contracts — cancel anytime. Pricing reflects the premium visibility and exclusive city placement each position provides.

Lead pricing varies by service type, ranging from $30 to $200 per lead. Higher-value services like kitchen remodeling or roofing replacement have higher lead costs that reflect the project value. You add funds to your account as needed, and your balance never expires.

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a leading payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide.

No long-term contracts required. Top Position subscriptions are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime. Lead generation credits have no expiration and no commitment — just add funds when you need them. We believe in earning your business every month.

If your lead balance reaches zero, you simply stop receiving new leads until you add more funds. There are no penalties or fees for having a zero balance, and your listing stays active. You can top up anytime through your dashboard.

Subscription refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Unused lead credits may be eligible for a refund. Please contact our support team through the Contact page and we'll work with you to find a fair resolution.

If a payment fails for your subscription, we'll attempt to charge your card again. If it remains unsuccessful, premium features such as Top Position are removed and your website link drops its do-follow status, but your listing stays published and visible. Once payment is resolved, premium features are automatically restored.
